Somehow that car survived a road trip from Savannah, Georgia to Anchorage, Alaska. A trip I made alone, with only a hammer for for protection, like Luba in Love and Rockets—god, what was I thinking? Enjoying this series a lot. I forgot how good Craig Thompson is! Glad he’s back.When the Snow Melts Part One by Nick Offerman (2015). I like the quiet parts of the story. I think his storytelling is stronger without narration. Hope I can find part two. #minicomicHot Tea, Cold Water 3 edited by Leann Leake (2011). The title of each contribution in this zine corresponds with a letter in the alphabet (26 in all).Operation Pizza by Box Brown (2013). A fun little 3-color Risograph mini printed at SAW. #minicomicReptile House 1 (2019). They dub themself the “Philly lowbrow comix quarterly.” It definitely has an underground vibe. I want to use the calendar but then my copy won’t be mint! Picked up at Desert Island. #minicomicMe + My Guts by Gino Dal Cin (2019). I related to this comic about IBS a lot. Picked it up at Desert Island. #minicomicNeil Jam 8 by Neil Fitzpatrick (2001). I never took a deep dive into Neil Jam but I like the visual style here. #minicomic134 Mahana’im St. by Keren Katz (year unknown, around 2017?). A short comic about a memory from childhood, shared on a first date. #minicomicAmarinthe by Rosemary Valero-O’Connell (year unknown, around 2017?). The title means eternal. This is a short pretty love poem. #minicomicGoiter by J.R.D. Pettinger (year unknown, around 2016?). Bitter humor in the vein of Brunetti or Clowes. This page is my favorite. #minicomic
